If you’re looking for ways to grow your Instagram following, there are plenty of services and platforms to help you, and two you might have heard of before are Upleap and Kicksta.

Both websites tout their ability to help you increase followers and, therefore, grow your authority with your audience.

For many brands, Instagram is an important part of their marketing toolbox, but Instagram is only useful if you have followers to see your posts, stories, reels and all of the other great content Instagram allows you to create and post.

Let’s look closer at these two growth platforms and see which is the safest and best option for your investment.

Growth Methods

This is the core of any Instagram growth platform. There are many methods to Instagram growth, and which one a platform uses can tell a lot about how well it’ll work.

Kicksta’s Growth Method

With Kicksta, growing your Instagram following is simple.

You simply create an account and then give the Kicksta team a list of a few target accounts whose followers are similar to the followers you want to have.

Then, Kicksta’s cutting-edge AI will start liking some posts of those potential followers on your behalf, giving them a tap on the shoulder so they know your account exists.

Then, those potential followers get to make their own decision of whether or not they should follow you.

Upleap’s Growth Method

Upleap doesn’t explain their process in detail on their website, but they do make it easy for you to join.

Simply make an account, set target accounts and hashtags, and then relax while their platform does the rest.

They’ll engage with accounts on your behalf, although they don’t clarify what type of engagement they use: likes, auto-commenting, follow/unfollow, or any other method.

However, using engagement strategies like this is a smart and safe way to attract followers, versus some platforms that’ll simply sell you a guaranteed number of followers.

Features

As with every platform, Instagram-growth-focused or otherwise, there are plenty of features that set programs apart from one another.

Kicksta Features

Kicksta will generate real followers, not bots or empty accounts, for your Instagram account.

When you work with Kicksta, you can access onboarding courses, advanced targeting, a blacklist feature and top-tier customer support.

Your dashboard will allow you to see which of your targets are bringing you the most followers, and you can use the Kicksta AI to target more accounts like those.

Overall, you can use smart targeting to reach the best potential followers.

Upleap Features

Upleap also says they’ll bring real followers to the table for you.

Their smart targeting helps you grow with other Instagrammers for organic growth, and you can access a dedicated customer support representative when you need assistance.

Track your progress to see how many followers you’re gaining and focus on posting content they want to see.

You can also target potential followers by accounts or by hashtags.

Upleap doesn’t seem to offer advanced targeting, however, and while their pricing page talks about analytics, the website doesn’t offer details about it.

Pricing

At the end of the day, price is an important factor in any business decision. While features are arguably more important, the price has to be right.

Kicksta Pricing

Kicksta offers three pricing tiers: Standard, Premium and Boost + Premium.

The Standard plan is $49 per month, lets you activate up to 10 target accounts and brings you moderate growth. The Premium plan is $99 per month, lets you activate up to 40 target accounts and brings you maximum growth.

The Premium plan also unlocks advanced features like the blacklist and specific targeting options. The Boost + Premium plan includes all of the benefits of Premium, as well as a monthly growth boost of at least 850 followers through a partnership with The Social Media Agency. The Boost + Premium plan is $218 per month.

Upleap Pricing

Upleap currently only offers a Standard plan, however a Premium plan is coming soon, according to the website.

The Standard plan is $69 per month and comes with influencer and hashtag targeting, whitelist and blacklist, analytics and email and chat support.

Their Premium plan teaser doesn’t include any additional information about extra features, nor does it include the price.

Which Service Is Safest?

While both of these platforms can be a good choice, Upleap leaves a lot of holes in their description online.

Without knowing which engagement practices Upleap uses to target followers for their customers, it’s hard to say that they’re a good choice.

Certain tactics, like following and unfollowing or automatically leaving comments can be seen as spammy and unsafe.

Kicksta only likes posts of your prospective followers and does so in a safe, organic way that you can trust.

They’re transparent about their methods and committed to helping you grow your following with real people who are excited to see your posts and engage with your content.

At the end of the day, Kicksta is the safer service.
