Mellow Morgantown – Your Gateway to Heaven

Tired of those long hours at the office? When you feel as if you would simply die if you don’t get a break, just think of bus trips.

After all, you really wouldn’t want to put yourself through the torture of air travel with its endless waits, body checks, and cramped seats, when you can sit comfortably in a plush bus seat and see the world go by.

Small places

While it may be tough for you to decide between thriving metropolises and quaint towns, the best way to choose a destination is by understanding your own wants first. Do you want a rocking travel scene that involves rushing from one happening place to another or do you want to take life a bit easy and roam around in a leisurely manner, taking the time to savor each moment of your trip?

Tiny towns have been gaining fame as excellent travel destinations for quite some time now. For example, bus tours in West Virginia are sought after by many travelers who seek a few days or a long weekend away from the hustle and bustle of cosmopolitan life.

Magnetic Morgantown

The beautiful Morgantown is nestled in the Allegheny Mountains in West Virginia, situated along the Monongahela River.

If you want to explore this unique town, you certainly won’t face a dearth of things to see and do.

You can start your trip here with a yummy breakfast at Morgan’s High Street Diner which serves it from 8 in the morning to 3 in the afternoon.

Once your hunger pangs are sated, rent a bike and cycle off those calories along the Monongahela River. Take the Mon River Trail which is just over an hour long and you can see all of Morgantown!

Feeling peckish after all that cycling? It is time to head over to the Blue Moose Café! You can have a pastry and coffee here before you head out to the Coopers Rock State Forest. From the overlook platform here, you can enjoy one of the best views of the Allegheny Mountains.

Once back, you can go in for some much-needed entertainment, such as concerts, dance performances, and even film festivals, at the Metropolitan Theater.

For dinner, you can visit Black Bear Burritos, where you can make your own burritos too! While munching on this classic, you can listen to the live music laying there.

Bus trips in Morgantown, WV, go hand in hand with local arts and crafts. For your dose of these, you can head over to the Monongalia Arts Center. The two galleries here house exhibitions put up by local artists. If you like what you see, you can also check out the Appalachian Gallery.

If you want some fresh air, you can visit the forest sanctuary, Core Arboretum, which is next to the WVU campus. You can bike or walk here and marvel at its extensive plant life.

Taking bus trips near me can change your life. It will make you appreciate the simpler things and enjoy them more.
