DocGo Adds Two VPs to Help Guide the Evolution of its Healthcare Solutions

DocGo Inc., a leading mobile health company offering technology-enabled, vertically integrated healthcare solutions, has welcomed two new Vice Presidents, Jen McLean and Yong Kim, to support its mission to provide high-quality, highly accessible care for all. They both bring extensive expertise in managing public health programs and building relationships in the field of value-based care.

Introducing the New Vice Presidents

Yong Kim, previously with CVS Health, joins as the Vice President of Health Plan Partnerships. He was instrumental in CVS Health’s business operations and strategic planning for population health and care management programs. Kim’s ten years of experience in healthcare management consulting and strategic advisory, combined with his crucial role in CVS Health’s business operations, make him well-suited to lead strategic planning for population health and care management programs at DocGo.

Jen McLean assumes the role of Vice President of Government and Public Health Programs at DocGo. She has over twenty years of experience working with communities and public health initiatives. Her previous tenure as Chief Operating Officer at City Harvest in New York City underscores her commitment to serving communities, making her a valuable addition to DocGo’s leadership team.

Lee Bienstock, DocGo’s CEO, is confident that McLean and Kim will enhance the company’s reach and efficiency in serving health plans and government sectors. Their appointments come at a time of increasing interest in mobile care solutions capable of delivering cost-effective, tangible improvements in health outcomes.

Strategic Hires to Advance Healthcare Solutions

Kim and McLean will each have different areas of focus at DocGo.

Kim’s primary responsibility will be cultivating health plan partnerships and developing business strategies for value-based care initiatives and future collaborations.

Meanwhile, McLean will collaborate with cities, governments and community organizations to implement mobile health solutions targeting public health needs, ongoing and emergent.

With Kim and McLean onboard, DocGo hopes to expand its programs with two of its core customer groups.

A Strengthened Vision for Public Health

Under Bienstock’s guidance, DocGo is ready to utilize Kim and McLean’s unique skill sets and expertise to help democratize access to healthcare through innovative technology, making high-quality healthcare accessible and affordable for everyone.

Kim expressed his excitement about joining DocGo, stating that he wants to use the resources DocGo provides to cater to underserved population segments. He trusts the team’s talents to bridge care gaps and discover new ways of improving health outcomes.

“As part of DocGo, I can’t wait to start growing the business, designing scalable operational models and improving every facet of work for employees, patients, colleagues and partners,” Kim said.

McLean is enthusiastic about contributing to DocGo and bolstering its existing public health initiatives in partnership with New York City and other communities across the country. Through mobile health services, they will support more underserved population segments.

“The impact and energy DocGo brings were among the many reasons I was thrilled to join the team. I look forward to helping this already incredible, dedicated team to further develop our operational excellence,” McLean elaborated.

Shaping Tomorrow’s Healthcare Today

In the ongoing healthcare revolution, DocGo stands out with its distinctive care delivery platform and unique mix of resources: a dedicated team of clinicians, extensive partnerships, state-of-the-art proprietary technology and a patient-centered philosophy.

With these new appointments, DocGo continues its mission to bring high-quality healthcare to the doorsteps of those who need it most.
